History
The Red Shutter Bed and Breakfast was built in 1908.  The home was built for the Hodges family and remained in the family until the present owner bought the home in1990.  The house was built in the upcountry farmhouse style with it's four square design featuring a large center hall.  The house was built to expand as the family grew, but with the Great Depression the expansion never happened.   The house still retains the original beaded board walls along with the ornate trim.

The Innkeepers dedication to the House shines through in all corners of the house.  From its individualized room decorations to the beautiful front and back yards to the delicious breakfast offered each morning.  Staying at the Red Shutter is a truly memorable and relaxing experience.
They pride themselves on taking excellent care of their guests and making them feel at home from the first moment they step into the home.
